     Electrolysis

Electrolysis is the permanent removal of unwanted hair. Many people worry about excess hair growth or hairs growing where they can be seen but it is a simple procedure to destroy the hair root's nourishment supply using a tiny electrical current. A thorough consultation will ascertain whether a potential client is suitable for hair removal by this method, the consultation is offered without any obligation to go ahead with the hair removal procedure.

Procedure

After thorough skin cleansing a new sterile needle the same diameter as the hair will be opened in front of you This is then fixed into a needle
holder and gently inserted alongside the hair, down into the hair follicle which is a natural opening in the skin therefore does not involve any
piercing of the skin. Current is then passed down via the needle to treat the hair root, thus allowing the hair to be drawn out without being plucked using tweezers.

Passsing the current Introducing the current

Result

Repeated treatment action in the follicle gradually makes the hairs finer and finer until they no longer form and grow at all.

Immediately after treatment the area usually looks a little red. However, special aftercare products containing Aloe Vera will be applied which enable any reaction to disappear within 2-3 hours.
