Face Masks

One of the very first forms of face packs was the application of hot and then cold moist towels applied to the skin of the face. This produced a cleansing, tonic reaction on the skin.

Many products have been employed over the years including special mud, finely ground oatmeal. honey, milk and fruit. They have a very effective result and are increasingly enjoyed by both men and women.
Effects and Use

The sensation of a cool, wet substance gives a stimulating effect to the skin of the face. This is closely followed by a coolness as a direct result of evaporation of the water content of the ingredients used which feels very refreshing. As the pack then begins to dry out slightly it creates an impression of warmth and tightening. A further stimulating effect can occur from the action of the active ingredients such as the enzymes in honey or fruit.

Another positive effect produced is the absorption of superfluous grease, dead skin cells and natural waste products, most of these too miniscule to see with the naked eye but leaving a fantastically refreshed feeling face.  As the mask is removed the increased circulation draws more fluid into the tissue spaces and they appear to plump out minimizing wrinkles temporarily.
Each mask is individually mixed up using only fresh, natural ingredients carefully chosen to be beneficial for the type of skin.
